For Shopify B2B
Standing orders your wholesale buyers set up once.
Steady Orders creates each repeat order on schedule as a normal Shopify B2B draft order, with the buyer’s catalog pricing and payment terms. Buyers stay in control. You never re-key a regular order again.
How it works
Three steps, and the third one repeats on its own.
- 1
The buyer sets it up
From their customer account they pick products, quantities and a cadence: weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Or you set it up for them and they accept it.
- 2
They get a reminder
A few days before each order the buyer sees exactly what will be ordered and for how much, and can adjust it until the cut-off.
- 3
The order appears in Shopify
On the day, Steady Orders creates the B2B draft order with current pricing and terms. Approve it, or let it complete automatically.
Everything a wholesale repeat order needs
Built for the way B2B buyers actually order: the same things, on a rhythm, with the occasional change.
Buyer self-service
Buyers create, edit, skip, pause and cancel their own standing orders from the Shopify customer account they already use. No logins to a separate portal.
Reminders with a clear cut-off
Before each order, the buyer gets an email with the lines, the total and the date it locks. They can change this one order or every future one, right up to the cut-off.
Their pricing, their terms
Every order is created with the catalog prices, payment terms and delivery address of the buyer’s company location at that moment. Nothing is copied or stale.
Short-stock rules you choose
Hold the order for review, create it without the short lines, or skip the cycle. Buyers see what was left off and why.
One attention queue
Held, missed and failed orders land in one place with the reason and the fix: retry, create anyway, create without short lines, or skip.
Automatic completion, safely
Turn drafts into orders automatically where payment terms apply, with fulfilment held until the order is paid. Or leave them as drafts for approval.
Boring where it matters
A repeat order that goes wrong costs more than one that never went out. Steady Orders is built around that.
- One order per cycle, ever. Each scheduled order has a single durable identity. Retries look in Shopify first and never create a second draft.
- Uncertain means review, not retry. A lost response, a missed cycle or a price that moved more than your threshold goes to your attention queue with the reason.
- Shopify stays the system of record. Pricing, terms, inventory and payment all come from Shopify at the moment of ordering. The app holds no copies.
- Fulfilment waits for payment. Where you let orders complete automatically, fulfilment is held until Shopify reports the order paid, then released.
Simple pricing
One plan. Pay for the orders it creates, with a ceiling so busy months stay predictable.
plus £0.40 per order created by a standing order, never more than £199 per period in total.
14-day free trial. Cancel any time by uninstalling.
- Unlimited buyers, standing orders and company locations

Questions
- Does this use Shopify subscriptions or selling plans?
- No. A standing order is an arrangement, not a subscription contract. Each cycle becomes an ordinary B2B draft order or order in your admin, paid under the buyer’s usual terms. No card is stored and no payment is taken by the app.
- What do I need on my store?
- Shopify B2B with company accounts, and new customer accounts. The app installs in a few minutes; adding the Standing orders page to customer accounts is one step in the checkout editor.
- Can I set up a standing order for a customer?
- Yes. You can create one on a buyer’s behalf from the admin and record the agreement; the buyer is asked to accept it before the first order, and can manage it afterwards.
- What stops a duplicate order if something goes wrong?
- Each scheduled order has exactly one identity. Before anything is created the app reconciles with Shopify, retries only against what it finds, and sends anything uncertain to your attention queue instead of guessing.
